Collection Inspired by Film
CARVEN, a long-established French fashion brand founded in 1945, launched its ready-to-wear line as the "new CARVEN" in 2009 under Artistic Director Guillaume Henry. Last year, it opened its first standalone store in Japan on Omotesando, and the brand is once again drawing significant attention from global fashion setters.
The first collection to be featured at the CARVEN Kobe Daimaru store is the 2013 Winter “introduction” collection, inspired by the 1970s film "The Tenant." It includes coats and knits in attractive autumnal color mixes, as well as delicate and sophisticated items made from lace, wool, and silk, combined like collage works by artist Jacques Villeglé, known as a participant in the Nouveau Réalisme movement of the 1960s. Additionally, on August 23rd (Friday), a poplin detachable collar will be released, perfect for completing a chic Parisian look with just a touch. This is an exclusive item for the CARVEN Kobe Daimaru store, celebrating the floor's renovation, so don't miss it.
Make your autumn and winter wardrobe more exciting with these pieces. Elevate your closet with feminine and chic items that embody the essence of a French brand.
