Pop-up shop for "EN ENSORCIVET" opens

From "ENSORCIVET," helmed by designer Aya Sakurai, comes the work line "EN ENSORCIVET," debuting in the Fall/Winter 2013 season. A pop-up shop offering an early chance to experience the new collection will be held from Friday, June 28th to Monday, July 15th at the select shop "1LDK me." in Nakameguro.

"ENSORCIVET" is known for its fusion of feminine mode and men's workwear, layering masculine motifs over those associated with women. In addition to the collection line launched in 2006 by designer Aya Sakurai, the much-anticipated work line "EN ENSORCIVET" is finally here.

"EN ENSORCIVET" proposes standard daily wear for all seasons, with the theme of "creating simple, long-lasting everyday clothing based on standard items."

The collection features meticulously crafted work items with a distinctly masculine finish, such as field coats treated with garment dyeing and bio-blast processing for a worn-in feel, and modified versions of the "41 KHAKI" chinos, favored by US Army pilots in the early 1940s. A full collection will be available, including pre-release items and accessories, such as special-order shoes from renowned British shoemaker Tricker's.

The display at the "1LDK me." pop-up shop will be handled by the product collective "SHURIKEN PRODUCTS." We encourage you to experience how they bring the world of "EN ENSORCIVET" to life. Additionally, a limited-edition market bag, specially ordered by 1LDK, will be sold at the venue. This simple, two-way bag with a shoulder strap can be used by anyone. The work line "EN ENSORCIVET," which can be enjoyed alongside the main collection, offers details and a relaxed feel that further expands the world of ENSORCIVET.
