An Event Conceived as a Special Homage to China

For MOSCHINO, China represents one of the most strategically significant Asian markets, and its importance continues to grow. The venue for the event was the Sunny Beach Club on the Bund, known as a high-end club in Shanghai. Over 600 guests were invited, including internationally acclaimed actress Zhang Ziyi, Chinese actor Deng Chao, Hong Kong's Simon Yam and his model wife Qi Qi, along with other celebrities, socialites, and journalists. Against the backdrop of Shanghai's skyscrapers, with a view of the riverside, the event unfolded as a special one-night-only affair, perfectly suited to the location chosen as a tribute to China.





The show featured only Chinese models, both male and female, presenting a collection imbued with the powerful message: "MOSCHINO desires to strengthen its development and unwavering status in China." The retrospective fashion show included pieces like dresses adorned with large question marks, characteristic of the brand. The scene where archival pieces were displayed against the backdrop of the Italian flag was breathtaking.





Regarding this event, MOSCHINO's Creative Director, Rossella Jardini, stated: "This year, celebrating our 30th anniversary, we chose to present the 2014 Spring/Summer Women's Resort Collection and the 2014 Spring/Summer Men's Collection in Shanghai, a city that symbolizes avant-garde and global connection. China is increasingly important as a market, and it embodies the very image of the future, synonymous with it. At the same time, we wanted to showcase archival pieces that tell the story of the Maison's history. I believe these initiatives express our deep respect for China and demonstrate that MOSCHINO is synonymous with a positive attitude, energy, and the future."
