First Reveal in the Fall/Winter 2014 Pre-Collection

The now 30-year-old Wu, a Taiwanese designer based in New York, launched his own label, Jason Wu, in 2007. His first collection for BOSS is slated for the Fall/Winter 2014 pre-collection, to be held in New York. The BOSS womenswear line will debut during New York Fashion Week in February 2014.

Regarding his appointment, Jason Wu commented, "HUGO BOSS has always been a brand I admired for its exceptional tailoring and heritage. I intend to design strong, feminine womenswear that reflects the established menswear elements within the brand's state-of-the-art design labs."

As Artistic Director, Jason Wu will work with his design team at HUGO BOSS headquarters in Metzingen, Germany. Concurrently, he will establish a new design studio in New York. He will continue to present his own collection as well.
