After debuting as a singer, Natsuki expanded her activities into theater, establishing an artistic expression that leveraged her physical abilities with her conceptual art theater "Impressionism" in 1993. She formed the blues band "Gibier de Mari" in 2006 and founded the performance group MNT (Mari Natsuki Terroir) in 2006, dedicating herself to mentoring younger artists. She continues to be powerfully active across a wide range of genres. In 2009, she also launched the "One of Love Project," supporting aid activities in developing countries.
In her latest book, "We Were Born to Find Beauty," Natsuki shares methods for maintaining her radiance, cultivated over sixty years, with keywords such as "food," "beauty," "lifestyle," "life," and "love."
In the section on eating, she imparts her dietary habits, arrived at over sixty years, including enzymatic eating, avoiding white foods, and consuming meat. Regarding beauty, she introduces her philosophy and secrets for creating beauty, such as "excess fat is excess thought," "unconsciousness is the enemy," and "you become more beautiful with every bath." The book also covers her lifestyle and philosophy on life, including the beneficial habit of waking early and the idea that sloppy cleaning leads to a sloppy person, as well as her thoughts on love.
Upon its release in April this year,a photography exhibition by world-renowned photographer Michael Thompsonwas held. The exhibition masterfully captured Natsuki's powerful physical movements and her expressions of newfound determination, reaffirming her presence as an artist.
This is a how-to essay filled with hints for making aging enjoyable and invigorating. It is a must-read for women who aspire to live a beautiful life, both mentally and physically, just like Mari Natsuki, who gracefully navigates her later years.
