On Monday, May 20th, Stella McCartney, the designer behind the highly popular British brand STELLA McCARTNEY, visited Japan. Events were held at the newly opened Roppongi Hills store and the British Embassy.

Innovative Presentation Features Models in Autumn/Winter Looks

Stella McCartney is a leading British brand, celebrated for its sharp, sophisticated tailored looks and its ability to effortlessly blend feminine sexiness with current trends. While its designs capture the zeitgeist, the brand's core identity lies in its fusion of modern luxury with sustainability.

Born and raised on an organic farm, designer Stella McCartney is a lifelong vegetarian with a profound awareness of environmental issues. She actively engages in conservation efforts both personally and through her brand. In March of this year, she was honored with an OBE from the Queen at Buckingham Palace for her contributions to the fashion industry. The source of her globally influential creations lies in her healthy, innovative lifestyle, positioning her as a creator to watch in this new era.

The designer and style icon herself visited Japan on May 20th. A tea party was held at the recently opened Roppongi Hills store – a charmingly British touch. A vibrant spread of sweets was laid out in the center of the store, where guests enjoyed conversation with Stella over tea.

In the evening, the venue moved to the British Embassy, where a presentation of the 2013 Autumn/Winter collection took place amidst offerings of food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, chips, cakes, and ice cream. The event surprised guests with an innovative presentation featuring models dressed in the latest looks being sketched live. A piano played a cheerful melody indoors, while fashion insiders, celebrities, and models who had just finished their presentations mingled freely with glasses in hand, enjoying the party with Stella.

The large windows facing the garden were thrown open, revealing a beautifully manicured garden with a large, grass-sculpted "STELLA" objet d'art at its center. Laughter echoed from the illuminated garden, creating an atmosphere akin to a relaxed garden party. Stella's approachable demeanor and warm presentation, reflecting her natural and unpretentious personality, charmed everyone, turning them into fans by the end of the night.
