An Innovative and Playful Interior Featuring a DJ Booth

The WEEKDAY store, designed to reflect the brand's innovative and playful spirit, immerses visitors in a world of music, fashion, and unconventionality from the moment they step inside. The store design is helmed by Berlin-based architectural duo Pierre Jorge Gonzalez and Judith Haase. Their vision is a contemporary store design that prioritizes functionality while eschewing nonsensical approaches. The staircase leading from the entrance to the interior will feature the brand's key color, green, and the overall aesthetic aims for a calm, green-centric environment.

Similar to its 21 other stores across six European countries, the new Osaka location will also feature a dedicated space for STORE MADE, a line of items handcrafted by staff, and a DJ booth. The store welcomes visitors with a unique spatial composition that incorporates playful elements.

Architects Pierre Jorge Gonzalez and Judith Haase commented on the store's design: "For the Osaka store, we were first struck by the wonderful location. We can see the constant flow of people from inside the store. Focusing on this, and considering the transparency of the space, the sightlines, and how the brand would be perceived, we incorporated an element of playful obscurity into the building's facade."

A brand gaining attention in Europe is finally making its debut in Japan. We eagerly await the June opening and the collection of items it will offer.
