A Collaboration Through the Lens of "Travel"

Under the concept that "life is a journey," Chie Morimoto and Seitaro Kuroda embark on a trip with Globe-Trotter, the renowned British travel case brand. Artwork depicting their journey through photographs and illustrations adorns Globe-Trotter cases, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces created by two of Japan's leading creatives.

Furthermore, Vulcanize, a concept shop that embodies the "now" of Britain across fashion, art, and culture, will launch a special color model of Canon's "EOS M" camera, "bay blue," color-designed by Chie Morimoto, on Thursday, April 25th. To commemorate this, a special travel exhibition will be held featuring Globe-Trotter cases adorned with travel artwork by Chie Morimoto and Seitaro Kuroda, alongside photographs taken with the "bay blue" camera. At Vulcanize London Aoyama and Vulcanize London Osaka, visitors can also enjoy an installation featuring a giant replica of a sketchbook that Chie Morimoto kept as a travelogue.

Additionally, a special talk show with Chie Morimoto and charismatic TV commercial director Shinya Nakajima will be held on Thursday, April 25th, at Vulcanize London Aoyama. The discussion will revolve around themes such as Britain, the homeland of Globe-Trotter, travel, photography, and art, offering a rare opportunity to hear insights infused with the rich sensibilities of these creators.

Travel cases, cherished companions on journeys, become imbued with memories of the places visited and people met. The travel artwork, uniquely expressed by Globe-Trotter, Chie Morimoto, and Seitaro Kuroda, who have shared these experiences, is a must-see.
