OTZSHOES began in Malibu, California, in 2009. The brand draws its unique design inspiration from the footwear worn by a large Ice Age man, nicknamed "Ötzi," who lived around 3300 BCE and was discovered preserved in ice melted by global warming.
The footwear worn by the Ice Man is said to have been simple yet functional, embodying the wisdom of survival in a harsh environment.
OTZSHOES updates this functionality and refined design, directly stitching the upper to the outsole without adhesives for an environmentally conscious construction. Inspired by antiquity yet perfectly suited for modern life, these shoes promote healthy posture from a biomechanical perspective.
For the latest summer collection, we recommend the "OTZ300GMS Linen," crafted from stone-washed Italian linen with a rubber outsole blended with natural jute. The antibacterial cork footbed, designed with an anatomical approach, offers a snug fit.
