Second Collaboration Honors "Running" and "Tennis"

The "adidas Originals by OPENING CEREMONY" Collection

The second collection from "adidas Originals" and "OPENING CEREMONY" is a tribute to running and tennis. The running collection will first be available at OPENING CEREMONY Seibu Shibuya Movida 1F and OPENING CEREMONY Lumine Shinjuku 2F starting February 27th. Following this, sales are scheduled to begin in mid-March at adidas Originals Shop Harajuku and Shinsaibashi.

Tennis Collection Scheduled for March Release

A powerful fusion of adidas' innovation and Opening Ceremony's imagination.—Focusing on swimming and cycling for its debut last spring/summer seasonthe "adidas Originals by OPENING CEREMONY" collection captivated attention. This season, they've crafted a collection inspired by 1990s prints and vivid color palettes.

The running collection is characterized by a swirling cheetah print with a dissolve effect, reminiscent of cinematic transitions.

The men's line carries over '90s trends with striped shirts, patchwork knits, and sporty details like mesh linings and trims. Contemporary yet sporty cool is evident in the supple bike shorts, slim track jackets, and hoodies incorporating materials like nylon and sweatshirt fabric.

The new women's pieces accentuate the body's lines while retaining a certain innocence. High-waisted leopard shorts are finished with subtle lace trim, adding a touch of sweetness.

Footwear also showcases the evolution of adidas Originals by Opening Ceremony, with running shoes featuring cheetah-print neoprene lining for a multi-layered effect. The adidas "Dellinger Web" cushioning system, which was cutting-edge footwear technology upon its 1980s debut, makes a notable comeback.
