A Portion of Proceeds Donated to NPO "Kamonohashi Project"

The "Five Color Charity" was initiated by Chloé in May 2010 with the slogan, "Joy overflows and reaches others." To date, items symbolizing white, green, red, and blue have been sold to support disaster relief for the Great East Japan Earthquake, environmental protection, the abolition of child labor, and assistance for athletes with disabilities, with proceeds donated accordingly.

This time, Chloé, a women's fashion brand, has set the theme of pink to the protection of women's human rights. To support the NPO "Kamonohashi Project" (http://www.kamonohashi-project.net/), which works to eliminate the issue of child trafficking in India and Cambodia, they are selling bracelets adorned in pink.

The "Kamonohashi Project" was launched in 2002 by co-representative Sayaka Murata, who was moved to action after witnessing the reality of a five-year-old child being forced into sexual exploitation during a visit to Southeast Asia while she was a university student. With the aspiration to "create a world where children are not sold," the organization employs a multifaceted approach, including operating a handicraft workshop to create jobs for adults and provide education for children, thereby preventing child exploitation stemming from poverty and working to eliminate the issue of children being sold.

The bracelet features a pink leather cord adorned with charms shaped like Chloé's logo and a bird. Purchasers will also receive an original badge, embellished with a pink "Chloé C" logo and pink rhinestones, as a token of their support for "Chloé Pink."

Chloé's initiative serves as a catalyst to draw attention to the ongoing reality of child exploitation. It allows the joy derived from wearing fashion to extend beyond the individual, delivering profound and abundant happiness to children in Asia.
