Exclusive Animation Embodies the World of the Collection

This autumn, JIMMY CHOO unveiled a capsule collection in collaboration with contemporary artist Rob Pruitt. To celebrate its launch, an animation titled "Angel Panda, Devil Panda," featuring inspiration and graphic patterns by Rob Pruitt and illustrations and direction by Joe Ratcliffe, has been released online.

Angel and Devil Pandas Journey Through a World of Imagination

Rob Pruitt, who has been creating novel and witty works with bold visuals since emerging in the New York art scene in the late 1980s, and JIMMY CHOO, known for its sensual shoes, have collaborated. This partnership merges Pruitt's signature style, featuring zebras, pandas, and color gradients, with JIMMY CHOO's sophisticated aesthetic, resulting in a collection that evokes both high fashion and playful charm.

To commemorate the realization of this captivating collection, an animation embodying its world was brought to life by illustrator Joe Ratcliffe. He reimagined the panda, an iconic motif in Pruitt's work and a key element of this collaboration, as a mischievous angel and devil, crafting a story of them journeying through Pruitt's whimsical and mysterious world of imagination.

The narrative begins with a devil panda, unable to resist the allure of the charming shoes, snatching them and initiating a chase with the angel panda. Pruitt himself commented, "I believe there's a certain role-playing fantasy involved when purchasing shoes. I wanted to express that image authentically using the angel panda and devil panda."
