Sisley's Spring/Summer 2017 Campaign Unveils Conceptual Imagery

Geometric Beauty Focused on the Human Form
Vanessa Beecroft has been actively engaged in a wide range of fields, including performance art, painting, photography, and sculpture, for over 20 years. Her work is highly acclaimed worldwide and has been exhibited at prominent art institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the National Gallery in London, as well as at the Venice Biennale.
The campaign released by Sisley features six images. Thirty-five male and female models, divided into three color groups, form rectangular shapes. This technique, where individuals of diverse ethnicities and styles create a unified formation without separation, is a typical style often employed by Beecroft.
The geometric arrangement, woven from human connections, evokes a mysterious sense of unity while simultaneously highlighting individual personalities and brilliantly expressing the allure of the fashion items.
She has stated that the photographs of models featured in the Italian edition of "VOGUE" were her initial inspiration as an artist. Beecroft, who views fashion as art, commented on this project: "I am confident that I can create images that transcend fashion itself, referencing geometry, painting, and color."
