Men's Wear Collection Debuts!


STELLA McCARTNEY is launching its first-ever men's collection for Spring/Summer 2017. A party celebrating the launch drew many celebrities, with performances by renowned musicians and DJs. The collection is scheduled to be available in stores from January 2017.

A Men's Collection Blending Formalwear and Sportswear



Stella McCartney's debut menswearSpring/Summer 2017 Collectiondraws inspiration from iconic art and subcultures of various eras. It's a British style that mixes formalwear and sportswear, expanding the boundaries of functionality and fashion by infusing timeless classics with new energy. The collection is slated for release in stores starting January 2017.

2017 Womenswear Collectionfeatures a playful style born from freedom and energy, combining shapes and textures in unexpected ways. Models, playfully interacting in recording studio settings like viewing rooms and DJ booths, showcase 18 looks, expressing the individuality of the vibrant Stella Woman. Pay attention to the new "Falabella Box," an adaptation of Stella McCartney's signature bag with its distinctive braided chain, presented in a structured hard-case form. Also noteworthy are the shoes like the Elyse, Binx, and Odette, along with eco-friendly eyewear made from bio-materials. Items are being released sequentially in stores from November.

To celebrate the collection's debut, a presentation was held on November 10th at London's iconic Abbey Road Studios, alongside musical performances by Neneh Cherry, Paul Simonon (The Clash),
Donovan (Big Audio Dynamite), Mike D (Beastie Boys), and Basement Jaxx, as well as DJ sets from Professor Green, DMC (Run DMC), John Cooper Clarke, and Stella’s Supergroup featuring James Yuill and Beth Ditto, and Charlene Spiteri. Mike D and DMC also performed.

The event also attracted a host of celebrities. To celebrate the night with Stella McCartney, a glamorous lineup including Kate Moss, Salma Hayek, Orlando Bloom, Cillian Murphy, M.I.A., Jess Glynne, and Anna Friel were in attendance.

Stella McCartney is renowned for her commitment to sustainability, with all collections produced in an environmentally responsible manner and, true to her vegetarian principles, without any animal testing. For this event, vegan, recycled, or upcycled decorations were used in collaboration with Dres’d.

Furthermore, 45% of the menswear and 53% of the womenswear are composed of sustainable materials, including recycled cashmere, organic cotton and denim, recycled nylon, sustainable wood and cork, and Nappa-like eco-materials.
