The short film for Tory Burch's 2016 Holiday & 2017 Resort Collection is presented in three parts, directed by Giovanna Battaglia, the Italian fashion editor, stylist, and creative director. Battaglia, who also serves as Fashion Editor at W Magazine and Senior Fashion Editor at VOGUE Japan, brings her signature chic and humorous style to the collection, making it even more captivating.




The film stars popular model Jessica Hart. It unfolds as a short story about women embarking on a journey to a warm destination. Synchronized with Kent Jones' song “Don’t Mind,” the film opens with a scene of opening presents in a New York apartment. Jessica is then shown preparing for her trip while dancing, and the film concludes with her shooting a selfie music video.

Regarding her directorial work, Giovanna Battaglia commented, "I have always admired Tory Burch and her brand. The holiday looks provided a wealth of inspiration for the film's concept. The pieces are so versatile and fun to play with, making them perfect for dressing up for an outing."




Key pieces from the 16 Holiday & 17 Resort Collection featured in the film include the Half-Moon metallic satchel, peace-sign slippers, easy-print dresses, and colorful swimwear. The collection draws inspiration from Round Hill, a once-thriving resort in Jamaica, balancing relaxation and sophistication. It is also influenced by Lauren Hill, an icon of cool elegance.



The 2016 Holiday Collection and 2017 Resort Collection will be available sequentially from late November at Tory Burch boutiques and online.
