Pop-Up Store Opens for "ICB NY EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION"

Since its debut in 1995, "ICB" has globally presented trend-driven career styles. Now, with the acclaimed Prabal Gurung as chief designer, they present the "ICB NY EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION." In Japan, a pop-up store will appear at Shinjuku Isetan from August 22nd (Wednesday) to 27th (Monday), with limited-time sales planned for several stores nationwide thereafter.

The Muse: New York's Real Fashion Girls

The "ICB NY EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION," created by Onward Kashiyama's "ICB" with its origin, New York, at its heart, debuted this February during New York Fashion Week. This collection marked its launch with the world's first digital fashion show, capturing the attention of numerous buyers and fashion journalists.

Furthermore, the world's attention was drawn to the appointment of Prabal Gurung, hailed as "the most in-demand creator today" and supported by celebrities like Lady Gaga, as the designer. Gurung, who has won the "Eco-Domani Fashion Foundation Award" and was a runner-up in the "2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards," is one of the designers whose future endeavors are highly anticipated.

This "ICB NY EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION," crafted by Gurung, infuses ICB's signature sharp and clean aesthetic with special touches inspired by New York's real fashion girls: think multicolor prints, lace-adorned dresses, and skirts with irregular hemlines that combine straight and curved lines for dynamic movement. Following its exclusive debut at Barneys New York stores in the US, parts of the collection will also be rolled out in select Asian countries, including Japan.

Following its pop-up store at Shinjuku Isetan from August 22nd (Wednesday) to 27th (Monday), the collection will be available permanently, with sales also planned for several stores nationwide. The "ICB NY EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION" represents a step forward from ICB's previous styles. Gurung's designs, imbued with the "real" essence of New York, are a must-see.
