Inspired by a Globe-Trotting Journalist
Chloé2016-17 Autumn/Winter Collectionhas unveiled its campaign visuals. Inspired by the French journalist Anne-France Dautheville, who traveled the world by motorcycle in the early 1970s, the collection expresses the beauty of a nonchalant, fearless woman forging her own path.

Like an Elusive Film
Captured in the Puglia region of southern Italy, a sense of tranquility and intimate presence pervadesChloé Fall/Winter 2016 Collectioncampaign visuals. Amidst landscapes of pale-toned strata and white villages, where the beauty of the Mediterranean remains untouched, the images reflect the fearless, independent attitude of women naturally enjoying their journey.
The photographer, THEO WENNER, chosen for his second collaboration with the maison, imbues the visuals with artistic playfulness. The meticulous yet intuitive images, capturing the imperfections of natural light, the movement of fabric and bodies, and the depth of film grain, speak volumes of unspoken narratives beyond the frame.
Donning motocross-style trousers and shearling outerwear, the campaign features Sofie Hemmet, Michi Kat, Ellen De WeeR, and Frederikke Sofie. As the new faces of the maison, they embody Chloé's elegance and natural beauty.
Unpretentious, authentic, and evoking a sense of nostalgic yet fresh worldview, the collection radiates a dazzling light, drawing the viewer's gaze toward the distant horizon. It is akin to an elusive film, one whose title is forgotten but whose impression lingers.—.
