Individualistic Visuals That Discard the Fashion Rulebook
MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION announces its Fall/Winter 2016 campaign visuals, centered on the theme of "unique and individual style." The visuals, once again captured by Mario Testino, cast aside the fashion rulebook, with everything from swaying feathers to textured tweed expressing a style that is uniquely the wearer's own.
"What you wear is your personality," says designer Michael Kors. The campaign visuals for Michael Kors Collection metaphorically express the brand's glamorous and beautiful world. Model Freja Beha Erichsen is captured by Testino in the back seat of a luxurious vintage car. The visuals highlight the Fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection and its striking details, such as the chain details on bags seen on the runway, feathers adorning denim, and oversized fur. Erichsen's luxurious travel style and private moments are captured portrait-style, her individualistic look adding a fresh, modern mood to the wearer's personality.

Meanwhile, the visuals for MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS reflect the brand's identity and origin: New York City. The Manhattan skyline and three models (Emmy Rappe, Romy Schonberger, Sven de Vries) boarding a helicopter evoke 70s jet-set glamour, capturing luxurious textures and glamorous silhouettes.
This global advertising campaign will be rolled out across magazines, digital platforms, social media, and outdoor advertising.
