Kate Moss Takes Full Charge of the Campaign Visuals
Shot at Her Private Home

To commemorate its 40th anniversary, EQUIPMENT is releasing a limited-edition collaboration item, "Kate Moss For EQUIPMENT," with Kate Moss, the world's most famous fashion icon.

Known for its modern, androgynous silhouettes, luxurious materials, and unexpected details, EQUIPMENT presents a capsule collection designed by Kate herself. The range includes everything from classic button-downs and archival prints to styles that closely resemble the supermodel's iconic looks.




EQUIPMENT, a shirt brand founded in 1976, presents a variety of shirt styles in this collaboration. The rock 'n' roll look, featuring a silk star-print bow-tie shirt, crop sweater, and blazer, showcases Kate's signature new silhouettes. The bold lightning bolt print, inspired by David Bowie, appears in Kate's trademark colors: red, black, white, and gray. Classic wardrobe staples like slim black five-pocket pants, wide-leg trousers, and military jackets are also available as cool graphic pieces.

Regarding the collaboration, Jack Schweber, CEO of EQUIPMENT, commented, "We are delighted that Kate was involved in every process, entrusting her with the entire shoot. She has built a relationship with EQUIPMENT over many years, making this a natural synergy. We hope this relationship continues for a long time."

True to his words, Kate took on the creative direction for the "Kate Moss For EQUIPMENT" 2016-17 Autumn/Winter campaign and oversaw the shoot at her private home in the Cotswolds, England. Musician Nick Cave's wife, Susie Cave, and Keith Richards' granddaughter, Ella Richards, along with two close friends, also contributed to the shoot. The resulting black-and-white visuals express Kate's signature moody aesthetic.






When asked about the origins of her relationship with EQUIPMENT, Kate commented, "My then-boyfriend had a mountain of EQUIPMENT shirts, and I started borrowing them to wear."

"Kate Moss For EQUIPMENT" is scheduled to be rolled out nationwide, starting with Ron Herman stores in Roppongi, Shonan, and Fukuoka on Saturday, July 30th. We encourage you to get your hands on these collaboration items, which embody Kate Moss's unique worldview.
