Pharrell Williams, a Close Friend of Karl Lagerfeld, Pays a Visit

A few days after the CHANEL 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Ready-to-Wear collection was held at the Grand Palais in Paris, artist Pharrell Williams, a close friend of designer Karl Lagerfeld, visited the Métiers d’Art atelier to observe the collection's creation process.

Pharrell Williams is no stranger to the brand, having co-starred with Cara Delevingne in Karl Lagerfeld's short film "Reincarnation" and appeared in the front row of shows.

In this video, Pharrell Williams tours the ateliers of Lesage for embroidery, Lemarié for feathers and floral creations, Lognon for pleating, shoemaker Massaro, and hatmaker Maison Michel, witnessing the creation of various pieces from the 2015-16 Métiers d’Art collection "Paris in Rome."

We invite you to watch a day in the life of this multi-talented artist interacting with the artisans of Métiers d’Art, who possess unparalleled skills.
