MIU MIU Presents Spring/Summer Collection Event at Isetan Shinjuku

For one week, from Wednesday, May 9th to Tuesday, May 15th, Miu Miu will host an event in a special space on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku. This event marks the first unveiling of the season's collection items in Japan, so be sure to check it out.

Numerous Collection Items to Debut in Japan First

The event will feature new items from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. During this period, a variety of limited-edition bags, as well as accessories and items available for early release, will be showcased.

Items exclusively available at Isetan Shinjuku include a tote bag featuring patchwork floral prints that capture this season's trends, and wedge-heeled sandals with floral prints, which also appeared in the Spring/Summer 2012 advertising campaign.

Early release items include a unique five-strand beaded necklace accented with cameos, and new frame bags with shoulder straps from Miu Miu's signature 'Matelassé' series.

Additionally, a special event, 'Miu Miu Portrait,' is scheduled for Saturday, May 12th, from 2 PM to 5 PM at The Stage on the first floor of the main building in Shinjuku.

This event is for Miu Miu fans, by Miu Miu fans. Selected fans, chosen through an application process, will don outfits inspired by the Spring/Summer 2012 advertising campaign and participate in a photoshoot against a special backdrop.

The muse with the most stylish coordination will receive a gift at a later date. While the application period has already closed, this event is sure to capture the attention of not only Miu Miu fans but also fashion enthusiasts.
