Flagship Store Dior Ginza Reopens April 22
Christian Dior's flagship store, Dior Ginza, which has been undergoing renovations, finally opened its doors on Sunday, April 22. In addition to special limited and early release items, the store will host the 'LADY DIOR AS SEEN BY' exhibition, celebrating the iconic Lady Dior bag. This marks a vibrant new chapter for the brand.

Commemorating the Renovation: Limited and Early Release Items Available!
Dior Ginza spans five floors and 650 square meters. The first floor features bags, jewelry, and watches; the second floor showcases precious skin items and custom bags, along with shoes; the third and fourth floors are dedicated to womenswear; and the basement level houses the Dior Homme boutique.
The elegant interior design was conceived by renowned architect Peter Marino. The entrance features a circular ginkgo bench by Claude Lalanne, and the walls of the double-height second floor display a video artwork by Yoram Mevorach Oyoram, depicting Granville, Monsieur Dior's birthplace, and the brand's past, present, and future, creating a sense of expansive depth. Artworks by artists with ties to the Maison, personally selected by Peter Marino himself, are displayed throughout as decorative pieces.
Furthermore, the women's floors on the third and fourth levels evoke the feeling of being invited into Monsieur Dior's home. Similar to the Avenue Montaigne flagship in Paris, the space blends contemporary furniture with architectural elements. The 120-square-meter Dior Homme floor in the basement integrates design influences from Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, and New York, transitioning from its previous black aesthetic to a spacious and bright atmosphere primarily in gray.
To celebrate the renovation, a variety of limited and early release items will also be available. For women, the 'Rose des Vents' series will debut, featuring Lady Dior and Miss Dior bags and shoes in pink tweed. From the Dior Homme timepiece collection, a new model limited to 200 pieces worldwide will be released, and Dior Fine Jewelry will offer new engagement rings from the popular 'Bois de Rose' collection, ahead of their global launch.
The Legendary Lady Dior Bag Transformed into Art
In conjunction with the reopening, the 'LADY DIOR AS SEEN BY' exhibition, a collaboration between Dior's iconic Lady Dior bag and top artists from around the world, will be held in Ginza from Sunday, April 22, to Sunday, May 20.
The legendary bag gained popularity after the then-First Lady of France, Mrs. Chirac, gifted it to Princess Diana during her visit to Paris. Princess Diana, fond of the bag, carried it everywhere, sparking its widespread fame. Now, photographers, film directors, and visual artists have transformed this iconic bag into works of art. The exhibition will feature pieces created by renowned international artists such as David Lynch, Olympia Scarry, Peter Lindbergh, Wen Fang, and Liu Jianhua. From Japan, works by Kohei Nawa, Azuma Makoto, Naoko Miyagoshi, Kengo Kito, and Koichiro Doi will be showcased.
