Special Exhibition and Sale of Coat Commemorating New York Store Opening

The pop-up store will feature nearly the full lineup of Mackintosh men's and women's coats, along with collaboration items with "Band of Outsiders" and "Hyein Seo." Additionally, a special order coat commemorating the opening of "Tomorrowland New York" on Bleaker Street in New York this September will be available only during the fair period.

This special order coat is based on a minimalist style inspired by the streets of New York, featuring a design that incorporates this season's trending military aesthetic. Originally a women's model, it has been adapted for men and crafted from sophisticated Saxony wool for a rubberized coat. Designed for the harsh New York winter, it is equipped with a detachable faux fur liner. Available in navy and khaki. This model is a special edition featuring the New York store's name tag.

Stencil Initial Service

In the early 19th century, when people struggled to shield themselves from wind and rain, Charles Macintosh, the founder of Mackintosh, invented the world's first waterproof fabric (Mackintosh Cloth). This innovative material quickly gained popularity and was adopted for British Army coats and national railway uniforms. In an era before advanced printing technology, it was common practice to indicate model numbers and names using stencil prints.

Inspired by this history, the pop-up store will offer a special stencil initial service for purchases of rubberized coats. Customers can choose up to three characters, including any alphabet from A to Z and a "dot" (.), to be printed in their desired location. This will result in a truly unique garment, distinct from standard personalization.

This autumn, we invite you to experience the allure of Mackintosh, reborn as a contemporary and luxurious brand.
