"About half of the furniture and fixtures that make up the new store, such as the approximately 100-year-old sign displayed at the entrance and the work table at the counter, are antiques collected from home and abroad. We aimed to create a warm atmosphere," says Tetsuya Okada, President of GLOBE SPECS.

On the central wall of the store, similar to the GLOBE SPECS Shibuya store, a large painting by Momoko Kawakami of the art project unit "Merry," comprised of two women, brightens the store's ambiance and adds a sense of fun.

The GLOBE SPECS Daikanyama store's layout is designed with the aspiration of helping women discover the joy of eyewear and making the process of purchasing glasses a delightful event. Plants in large French antique pots are arranged in the open space, offering a view that extends to the outside.

Regarding the products, Anne et Valentin, for which GLOBE SPECS serves as the general agent in Japan, now offers a wider selection of items compared to before the renovation. The store also features an enhanced collection of vintage frames, showcasing the unique dedication of the Daikanyama store.
