Inspired by the "Red Sole"

Christian Louboutin, the visionary behind the iconic "Red Sole" that elegantly and sexily accentuates a woman's foot, has created a special capsule collection to mark the brand's 20th anniversary. The concept behind this collection is "shoes inspired by the Red Sole."

The past year and this one have been a true anniversary celebration for Christian Louboutin. Last November, the brand hosted the "Extraits" exhibition and released an anniversary book, "CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN - 20th Anniversary Book -," filled with Louboutin's personal insights. This capsule collection launch, along with upcoming retrospective exhibitions in London and France, marks a series of significant events.





The capsule collection also features shoes that embody his unique world of fetishism, drawing inspiration from his lifelong fascination with showgirls and exotic realms. The "La Pluminette" shoe, for instance, is adorned with lightly dancing feathers, a vivid and fantastical representation of cabaret dancers likened to birds of paradise.

Other pieces include "The Copt," inspired by a trip to Egypt, and the "Atremis Paris" bag, a reimagining of the Parisian cityscape through Louboutin's distinctive lens. Each item in the collection encapsulates his background, stories, and unique worldview.

This capsule collection is scheduled to be available at domestic directly managed stores starting Sunday, April 1st. More than just bags and shoes, these 20 pieces are imbued with his life, philosophy, and aesthetic, radiating inspiration and vitality. The collection offers a glimpse into Christian Louboutin's glamorous 20-year journey and hints at what's to come.
