Flagship Store Opens on Milan's Via Sant'Andrea

GIVENCHY has opened its flagship store on Via Sant'Andrea, the heart of Milan's luxury and fashion district. Inside, an elegant, serene atmosphere, akin to an art gallery, envelops visitors—a space befitting the Maison.

An Understatedly Sophisticated Ambiance

Located on Via Sant'Andrea, which also intersects with the world-renowned Via Montenapoleone, the flagship store embodies the aesthetic vision of Creative Director Riccardo Tisci in its store design, while also materializing the Maison's enduring heritage and the founder Hubert de Givenchy's vision. The interior is divided into several intimate rooms, each featuring precious items set against minimalist backdrops.

Riccardo Tisci meticulously focused on every detail to create a store design that resonates with Via Sant'Andrea, bringing a downtown sensibility to this upscale Milanese area.

The facade retains the original three windows. Upon entering, visitors are immediately drawn to a large aquarium at the far end. From here, the store unfolds, inviting guests into a world of elegance and style.

Givenchy's Elegance and Innovation

White spaces, where iconic pieces from Givenchy's collections are displayed, feature mirrored shelves along the walls. The elongated shape of these rooms evokes the vibrant, bustling streets of Milan.

Ascending the mirrored staircase reveals the masculine space on the first floor. Substantial stages are arranged in contrast with large blocks, reminiscent of altar benches, where shoes and accessories are presented.

Riccardo Tisci on the Flagship Store

This flagship store, with its use of materials like concrete, mirrors, and glass, creates a gallery-like atmosphere that captivates visitors, allowing them to experience the world of Givenchy as envisioned by Riccardo Tisci.

"Milan is the most vibrant fashion city in the world, and it's also a place where I feel truly at home. I wanted to create a special and unique store where people can feel and be surprised by the brand. This store perfectly expresses our French couture vision and DNA, harmonizing it with the energy of the city and its people." Riccardo Tisci comments.
