New Autumn/Winter Styling Proposals from Three Fashion Hosiery Brands

Focus on 'Deco-Leg': Full Body Coordination Starting from the Feet

ATSUGI, the company behind the fashion hosiery brands 'Exhale,' 'RELISH,' and 'Je l’aime,' unveiled its 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection with a concept centered on full-body coordination that begins with the feet. An exhibition was held to introduce this approach, which they've named 'Deco-Leg.'

The 'Deco-Leg' Concept: Freedom from the Feet Up

ATSUGI's Autumn/Winter collection was presented through coordinations that leverage the unique characteristics of each of its three brands, curated by Eri Nakata, a stylist active in magazines like 'Oggi,' and MAIKO, a popular stylist across diverse fields including magazines, advertising, and work with talent and artists.

'Deco-Leg,' defined as 'style with meticulous attention paid down to the feet,' views hosiery such as tights and socks—essential for the Autumn/Winter season—as key pieces that can transform an overall impression. For the Autumn/Winter collection, they propose full-body coordination strategies inspired by the feet, tailored to different scenes and preferences.

Patterned Legs are Back for Autumn/Winter

'Exhale,' offering high-fashion, high-quality legwear with a modern edge, presents designer hosiery inspired by Renaissance Italian art. The lineup features chic patterns that highlight the texture of the materials.

'RELISH,' which offers a wide selection of patterned stockings, tights, socks, and leggings, features three lines catering to both function and personal preference. They offer a variety of patterns that are easy to coordinate, from classic designs to tartan checks, houndstooth, geometric patterns, and stripes in larger formats.

'Je l’aime,' with its concept of 'French Mode & Feminine,' has been rebranded and relaunched for the Autumn/Winter season. This season, they are presenting designer hosiery with a retro, nostalgic feel, packaged in lace-patterned boxes.

Focus on Hosiery for Fresh Coordination

ATSUGI aims to 'propose opportunities through Deco-Leg for individuals of all ages and life stages to become their desired selves.' The exhibition clearly presented full-body coordinations featuring hosiery suitable for elegant adult styles, such as pairing with trendy gaucho pants, the current layered look of tights-on-socks, and sophisticated outfits for occasions like weddings, parties, or girls' nights out.
