The latest model, "BRADFIELD," has been added to the eyewear collection, a collaboration between MYKITA and DAMIR DOMA. It features a novel, trompe-l'oeil-like design that makes the lenses appear to float away from the frame.

Elevating the Collaboration to a New Dimension

The new eyewear model "BRADFIELD" is characterized by its trompe-l'oeil design, where the round lenses, inspired by early 20th-century panto glasses, appear detached and floating from the front frame.

The exterior features a classic panto-shaped frame made of 5mm-wide stainless steel. Within this, a perfectly round rim is incorporated, creating a novel design. This complex structure produces an optical illusion, making the lenses seem to float.

The front frame is crafted from a single flat piece, which is then manually folded in stages to form its shape. This is a testament to MYKITA's contemporary craftsmanship and skillful techniques, resulting in a truly exceptional piece. Additionally, two flap-like parts are attached to the underside of the outer frame to prevent the lenses from falling out. The distortion-free round lenses are a motif that has repeatedly appeared in previous collaborations between the two brands. This time, by pairing them with a classic panto-shaped frame, an edgy aesthetic has been created, blending retro charm with a futuristic steampunk vibe.

The collection is available in three colorways: silver/black with black-gray lenses, gold/forest green with green lenses, and silver/cinder gray with silver mirror lenses. They will be available at MYKITA stores and online shop, DAMIR DOMA's flagship store, and select retailers worldwide.
