The second collaboration collection from NikeLab and sacai has arrived. This summer collection, which reveals its colors with movement, will be available from Thursday, June 11th at NIKE.COM/NikeLab, NikeLab DSM GINZA, and the sacai flagship store in Minami Aoyama.

Dunks Reimagined as Fashion-Forward Slip-Ons

The collaboration between NikeLab and sacai is known for its hybrid style, blending classic sportswear with bold interpretations. The summer collection draws inspiration from Nike's archives, expressed through sacai's signature fresh color palettes. The lineup features items that combine femininity with a playful spirit. Its most striking feature is the unexpected use of color, a deliberate choice designed to reveal its true brilliance with movement.

Dresses and skirts showcase vibrant fabrics that bloom as the wearer turns, while the Windrunner jacket's cape-like pleats create a striking presence with every motion. Furthermore, from beneath fleece layers, glimpses of mesh, satin, and lace appear with gestures, alongside flashes of vivid color.

"It was incredibly enjoyable to rework the key Windrunner silhouette. Through a design process of re-understanding the garment, we arrived at the unexpected expression of bold, feminine pleats on the back," comments Chitose Abe, Founder and Designer of sacai.

The new Windrunner skirt is a bold reimagining of an athletics jacket. It features a slim silhouette with snap buttons on the front. The pleated mesh underskirt creates surprising volume and movement, making it a standout piece.

Nike's classic basketball shoe, the Dunk, is also given a modern update, utilizing premium leather, an elasticated tongue, and a drop-in Lunarlon sockliner. The slip-on Dunk Lux is crafted to embody sacai's brand concept of fluid form, comfort, and freedom of movement.
