It’s a shame to buy a palette of eyeshadows with your favorite colors, only to find you rarely use some shades while others go untouched. Shu Uemura’s new makeup palette system introduces refillable pressed eyeshadows and glow-ons (blush).

You can freely arrange only the colors you want to use in a single palette, allowing you to “change your makeup” just as you choose your daily outfit. It’s also wonderful that you can repurchase frequently used colors or try new shades.

The custom palettes and custom cases come in three types, each in two colors. Designed by acclaimed architectKumiko Inui,the “Custom Palette IV” can hold four eyeshadows or two glow-ons, and includes a mirror, making it convenient for on-the-go.
