Max Mara is favored by women who appreciate quality, with its elegant and sophisticated designs. A pop-up shop for "MARGAUX," its iconic bag launched last year, will be open for a limited time from March 2nd (Wed.) to March 15th (Tue.) on the first floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi.

Max Mara's new iconic bag, "Margaux," debuted in the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection as a symbol for women actively engaged in both work and private life. Its characteristic feature is the blend of design and functionality, making it convenient for use in various situations.
The innovative ideas that prioritize practicality are also noteworthy. The asymmetrical handles are designed to allow for smoother opening and closing when the bag is slung over the shoulder. Furthermore, the double-fastening system, which allows the bag to be securely closed with a zipper or partially closed with a ring, perfectly embodies the fusion of functionality and design.
The "Margaux" is meticulously constructed from 120 parts, showcasing Max Mara's unique craftsmanship through the balance of material and form harmony and contrast, exquisite cutting, and precise stitching. It can be said to be a bag that combines Max Mara's characteristic smart beauty with a focus on practicality.
The pop-up shop will feature bags in basic colors such as gray, navy, beige, and white from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. There will be two types of materials: leather only, and a combination of canvas and leather. All variations are scheduled to be displayed and introduced.
