Four Keywords to Invite a Happy Mood

Keyword: Sparkle
First, I found a piggy bank with a sparkling stone pig. Isn't it cute? It's from 'Abiste.' It's fun to slowly put coins in, isn't it!? Sometimes we have a 'grab bag' of New Year's money to liven things up (lol). Just looking at the sparkling pig lifts my spirits.

Keyword: Rose
Then, a calorie-free rose water I received as a souvenir from a friend. Rose water is unfortunately not available in Japan, but it's a rose drink that makes you feel luxurious. Rose also has high antibacterial properties, so it seems effective for improving digestion.

For rose water in Japan, 'NO-MU-BA-RA' is popular, but 'TSU-YA-BA-RA,' which comes with gelatin powder (odorless, tasteless, first-press collagen) from Kyoto Nakamura-do, is also unique. This winter, I often drink hot honey lemon at home, and I add this rose essence and collagen powder to it. It warms my body and brings a sense of calm.

On my regular program 'US Style' (BS Asahi, every Saturday at 12:30 PM), I wore a pink cardigan, conscious of spring, with a maxi skirt featuring a rose pattern. (Photo from left: program navigator Chin-Kana, Lisa Stegemeyer, and myself). Floral patterns and maxi styles are both on-trend, aren't they? Pink also looks good on camera, making me appear radiant and glamorous.

I also introduced it on the show, but the light pink new fragrance 'Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh' is so cute~ (scheduled for release in March 2011). The bottle is adorned with six daisy flowers. It's a floral fruity scent with notes of raspberry, plum, wild rose, and jasmine petals... It's a fragrance that might make you feel like a free-spirited, slightly whimsical girl.

In this way, surrounded by pink, I'm getting a head start on the spring feeling! I want to carry this excitement through and have a happy year-end and New Year.
