Theme: "Human Warmth, Beyond the Digital"

WAVE, once a cultural hub in the 80s and 90s known as a "new space for sound and visuals," has been revived as a new project by Takeshi Osumi and Yuichi Yoshii. Last November, they opened a kiosk-style shop named "MICRO WAVE" on the first floor of Shibuya Parco.
Toyo Kasei, the collaborator for this project, was founded in 1959 and is Japan's foremost manufacturer of analog records and CD packaging. While many record pressing plants have disappeared due to the digitalization of the music industry, Toyo Kasei has been at the forefront of the record industry in Japan and across Asia for over 60 years, handling everything from analog record cutting to pressing and package printing.
For this collaboration, items featuring both logos were designed under the theme of "Human warmth, beyond the digital," reflecting Toyo Kasei's dedication to analog records.

The first items, sweatshirts and T-shirts, are currently available. A second release, record bags, will arrive at the end of January. These will be available at the WAVE corner in WAVE Shibuya Parco and The Contemporary Fix Kyoto.
