Introducing the Collection for Summer in the City

GANT RUGGER, the casual line inheriting the DNA of GANT—founded by Bernard Gant, who first popularized the button-down shirt in America—opened its second Tokyo store in the Shin-Marunouchi Building on Friday, March 13th.

While it is a casual line, the store offers items that are more "sophisticated, cool, and urban." The collection features jackets and knits, primarily shirts. Additionally, the Spring/Summer 2015 collection, born as an homage to "summer in the city," is also showcased.

The Men's SS15 collection includes tailored items with attention to silhouette and fit, along with relaxed shorts & jackets and unstructured blazers. Bright yellow accents evoke a tropical atmosphere amidst the urban heat, surrounded by concrete.

The theme for Women's SS15 is "dressed-up casual." Alongside relaxed items like ripped denim and camisoles, there are plans to offer men's collection pieces in women's sizes. The carefully selected blues, along with silk and lustrous items, create a sophisticated, dressed-up mood while maintaining a casual feel.
