Vibram Japan, the Japanese branch of Vibram, the globally renowned sole manufacturer whose products are used in high-quality footwear worldwide, is collaborating with FRONT11201, a vintage store from Brooklyn, New York, to host the brand's first-ever pop-up event at the FRONT11201 Kamiyama-cho store.

Vibram has carved out its own unique world and risen to become a one-of-a-kind outsole brand, despite the fact that shoe soles are a component that often goes unnoticed. Founded in Italy in 1937 by Vitale Bramani, an inventor of outsoles who was also an entrepreneur and mountaineer, Vibram now releases around 300 new soles annually. It supplies soles to over 1,000 footwear brands worldwide, supporting approximately 40 million pairs of feet.

The greatest feature and appeal of Vibram soles lies in their rubber "compound." Compound refers to the mixture of ingredients. Vibram meticulously blends raw materials and manipulates density, hardness, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength to achieve the grip required by various environments, resulting in numerous types of soles adapted to different conditions. During the event, a special Vibram booth will showcase a variety of soles with diverse designs, offering a glimpse into the brand's history. On five weekend days, professional artisans will be available to take orders for shoe repair and customization.
