The "MARGARET HOWELL FLORENCE" shop and office are situated in the heart of Florence, near the Arno River. Through its six windows, one can glimpse the interior where products made in both the UK and Italy are displayed.

Interiors by William Russell Also a Highlight

The store design was overseen by William Russell of Pentagram Architects. He has incorporated elements from the interior design of Margaret Howell's flagship store on Wigmore Street, London, which he also designed in 2002.

Rails for hanging clothes and shelves line the walls, reaching up to the ceiling.VitsoeThe Vitsoe shelving system beautifully displays accessories, clothing, and home products.

Russell has established a design concept that unifies the store experience across Margaret Howell's international locations.



Designer Margaret Howell comments, "Over the past decade, Will Russell and I have collaborated on the interiors of Margaret Howell stores. While he fully embraces my ideas, Will always brings his own unique vision—a special spatial perspective—that I might not have considered. This has led to a fruitful and positive working relationship."
