On Thursday, April 23, 2020, DOLCE&GABBANA celebrated the reopening of its boutique on Canton Road in Hong Kong.

A Cinematic Boutique Crafted with Reflected Light and Geometric Patterns
The renovated facade features rectangular frames crafted from white veined Italian marble. An 18-meter-high screen, composed of multiple overlapping frames, creates a three-dimensional effect, with each frame's boundary illuminated in white.
At the boutique's entrance, the Bauhinia flower, an icon of Hong Kong, is rendered in a colorful mosaic of stone and glass. This is a testament to the fusion of Chinese culture with the traditional craftsmanship of Italy, the 'beautiful country'.

The boutique spans two floors, each composed of rectangular spaces. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a grand, symmetrical staircase. The first floor is dedicated to womenswear, while the second floor showcases menswear.
Both floors share a consistent aesthetic, featuring floors and walls of grey Italian Carnico marble, framed by polished wooden accents. To create a visual contrast and enhance the sense of continuity, white veined marble, also used on the facade, extends from some floors to the ceilings, illuminating both levels. A mirrored ceiling reflects the entire boutique, playing with light and perspective to emphasize the refined furnishings and materials.

The clean, linear architecture is softened by furnishings in gold velvet and polished brass, creating a sophisticated setting that beautifully showcases the Maison's creations.
