Affordable Made-in-USA Items
SAVE KHAKI UNITED was founded in 2006 by David Mullen, who gained experience as a designer for renowned American brands. The brand's name originates from the straightforward reason: "While denim was getting all the attention, I wanted to save khaki (chino pants)."
The brand's items, all made in the USA, are based on military and workwear influences. Their timeless, standard designs have garnered a reputation and are carried by select shops worldwide catering to discerning tastes.
SAVE KHAKI UNITED's limited-time store opened on October 9th on Cat Street in Shibuya, Tokyo. The shop, which faithfully recreates the flagship store in SoHo, New York, is characterized by its casual display using hooks mounted on the walls, eschewing torsos and hangers. It's an initiative to convey the brand's worldview through its staff and displays.
Inside the store, basic items are lined up, mirroring the New York flagship. There's no distinction between men's and women's wear, with sizes ranging from XS to accommodate women. The shop offers a range of affordable items, including shirts and pants priced around ¥10,000, as well as lifestyle goods. They plan to expand their outerwear selection in the future.
The shop will be open until the end of December this year. We encourage you to experience the atmosphere of the New York flagship during this period.
