A collection where Barbour's tradition meets Tokito's modernity

Tokito, known for its clothing that subtly infuses adult allure through carefully selected materials and meticulously crafted patterns, based on British tradition, was commissioned by Barbour—a brand with Royal Warrant and widely regarded as the world's most trusted outdoor clothing line—to design a collection. Under the name “Barbour The Beacon Heritage Range limited by TO KI TO,” eight jacket styles have been unveiled.

The collection comprises five wax cotton jackets, an icon of Barbour, and three waterproof nylon jackets. Yoshida, who found the theme of "outdoors" in activities like horse riding and motorcycling, has infused modern functionality into details such as waterproof zippers and linings, thereby "hybridizing" Barbour, while respecting its 101-year history.
Naturally, Tokito's signature silhouettes are also clearly reflected, resulting in a collection that beautifully fuses the individuality and strengths of both brands.

Claire Sanders, Barbour's Marketing Director, commented, "We are delighted with this project. Tokito's extensive knowledge and love for British outdoor apparel, combined with Barbour's unique craftsmanship, have resulted in evolved engineered fashion. Barbour's Italian distributor, W P Lavori in Corso, has strong ties to the Japanese market and had a favorable view of Tokito's designs. It was through their recommendation that he was chosen for this limited edition “Barbour Beacon Brand” initiative."

It is certain that this collection, embodying tradition, functionality, and modernity, will continue to attract significant attention.

Barbour The Beacon Heritage Range limited by TO KI TO will be available at select specialty stores worldwide, including Colette in France, and Opening Ceremony and Bergdorf Goodman in the United States. It will also be sold at major select shops in Japan.

Additionally, it has been featured on the official website of the UK's LIBERTY.
