Modern Accessories Infused with Japan's Proud Traditions
This event at STYLE WORKS Ginza will feature works by Takayuki Hariya of "Urushi Art Hariya." Hariya is a rising maki-e artist known for his ambitious creations, who learned traditional techniques from his father, Yuushi Hariya, a maki-e traditional craftsman and a full member of the Japan Kogei Association.
From Hariya's new line, named "MT.ARTIGIANO" and based in Kaga, we will showcase cufflinks, tie bars, and button-down earrings.
The cufflinks, featuring gold designs applied with maki-e techniques on mother-of-pearl or black pearl, and the tie bars, crafted from black persimmon or cypress wood with lacquerware and maki-e techniques, are exquisite pieces that embody refined, modern elegance while respecting tradition.
The "Button-Down Earrings," designed to further enhance the styling of button-down shirts, utilize traditional techniques like lacquer coating on mother-of-pearl, yet are easily incorporated into any ensemble. They add a playful touch to the collar of a button-down shirt and can also be worn as lapel pins.
Place Your Special Order Before the Autumn/Winter Season Arrives
The "Premium Order Event 'OATSURAE'" will feature new fabrics from popular custom shirt makers "THOMAS MASON" and "CARLO RIVA," alongside limited-edition fabrics from "DAVID & JOHN ANDERSON" and "ALUMO," globally cherished for their supreme quality. Customers can also order from "ALBINI's" "BESPOKE BUNCH," with fabrics specially sourced from Italy for each order.
For jacket pattern orders, a new flap pocket model has been introduced, and we now accommodate requests for matching set-up suits. Furthermore, vests can now be ordered, allowing for the creation of three-piece suits.
In addition to pattern orders for jackets, vests, and trousers, and special suit orders, we will offer a preview of pattern orders for the season's signature Chester coat. A rich selection of new fabrics for this season is available, including those from high-quality cloth makers like "CANONICO," "LORO PIANA," and "CARLO BARBERA," as well as "FERLA," which has gained attention in recent years, and "ZEGNA's" cashmere for coats.
