Projecting a Stronger, More Dynamic Image
The new HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE collection draws inspiration from powerful, dynamic primitive body painting. It layers the brand's concept of "dialogue with the body" onto the bold prints and rich colors expressed through the dynamic and acrobatic performances of capoeira.
The new "GINGA" items, arriving on August 1st (Friday), feature a bold print of jagged patterns, hand-drawn and arranged, inspired by the striking motifs of body painting, rendered in vibrant colors. They offer a powerfully light and agile styling experience.
The "GINGA" line comprises three styles: one top and two bottoms, available in off-white, light green, light blue, and blue.
Experience the Material and Craftsmanship in Store
Discover the appeal of HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE items through visuals: crafted using "quick-drying" materials that rapidly absorb and release sweat, and manufactured with the "garment pleating" technique where pleats are applied after sewing. These garments are light, easy to move in, offer a relaxed fit, and are simple to care for and pack.
