Runway Show Held in Shanghai
On Saturday, April 18th, Dior Homme presented its 2014-15 Winter Collection runway show at the LONG MUSEUM WEST BUND in Shanghai. This marked the second consecutive year the brand has held a repeat show in China, following last year's event in Beijing.

A Wall of Lily of the Valley: An Overwhelmingly Grand Production
The venue, LONG MUSEUM WEST BUND, is a new private museum designed by Chinese architect Liu Yichun. The museum boasts one of China's largest private collections in contemporary art, and this marks the first time Dior Homme has staged a show in such an art institution.
The show, attended by over 700 guests, featured a scenario where international and Chinese models mingled, walking through the architectural space as if they were mannequins. At the finale, the venue's walls were illuminated with projections of the lily of the valley, a symbol of the House of Dior, overwhelming the audience and concluding with a spectacular production.
"I am very honored to be able to show in China again. This collection is my contemporary interpretation of the tailored suits and the imagery of his lucky charms that Monsieur Dior himself wore. By pairing classic suits with stone-washed denim, I wanted to convey that the Dior man can be approached by anyone, anywhere," commented Creative Director Kris Van Assche.
Additionally, at the after-party held at the same venue, Paris-based artist Gesaffelstein took to the decks as DJ, greatly energizing the atmosphere.
