The Third Collaboration Focuses on Material

CANTON was born in 1963 as Japan's first domestic jeans brand and operated until 1968. In 2008, it was revived by the long-established trading company Toyoshima as "CANTON OVERALLS." It is a legendary brand that cannot be overlooked when exploring the history of Japanese denim.

The revived CANTON OVERALLS aims for contemporary basic denim that is neither a replica nor vintage, fusing vintage elements with modern functionality. All Japan-made with original patterns, sewing specifications, and parts, they captivate denim fans with their meticulous craftsmanship down to the finest details.

For the third season of the "MHL. × CANTON" collaboration, this season uses CANTON denim blended with Texas organic cotton. You can enjoy the pure indigo blue and the delicate vertical fading that develops with wear.

The new style features a clean, slim tapered silhouette that offers versatility in styling (top photo, left). The patch pockets on both sides, which appear to be a five-pocket style at first glance, and the CANTON stitching on the hip pockets add a distinctive touch.

Additionally, the Carpenter Trousers (top photo, center and right), which debuted as a new model in Fall/Winter 2013, draw inspiration from European fireman pants and continue to be offered this season.
