An Exhibition by the Fictional Art Unit "VIDEOBOYZ"

VAINL ARCHIVE, one of today's most dynamic domestic brands, continues its craft based on the principle of "things that seem to exist but don't." However, the brand's designer, Kohei Okita, has also been exploring creative endeavors distinct from clothing design. This led to the formation of the fictional art unit, "VIDEOBOYZ." Their exhibition, "VAINL ARCHIVE visual composition VIDEO BOYZ," will be held at SUNDAY ISSUE in Shibuya from Wednesday, February 19th.

Eight Leading Artists Convene

The art unit "VIDEOBOYZ" was spontaneously born three years ago when multiple artists began to subtly alter a collage book compiled from the vague images that VAINL ARCHIVE designer Kohei Okita had harbored. While separate from the collection's worldview, they have presented alternative artistic expressions, embodying a symbiotic relationship, in various forms.

The exhibition at SUNDAY ISSUE in Shibuya will feature works by eight artists, handpicked by Okita, spanning diverse genres and fields of activity. These pieces will be exhibited and available for purchase. Additionally, VIDEOBOYZ will release a tabloid in conjunction with the exhibition, and T-shirts featuring motifs from the participating artists' works will be sold exclusively at the venue.
