Yohji Yamamoto collaborates with "xVESSEL," the apparel brand founded by Van Ness Wu. The shoes in this collection are based on "xVESSEL's" popular "G.O.P" model. They are finished with urban details that blend street style with a touch of avant-garde.

Blending Street Style with an Avant-Garde Touch

Yohji Yamamoto has joined forces with "xVESSEL" (pronounced Ves-sel), an apparel brand created by Taiwanese actor and singer Van Ness Wu, to launch a special collaboration sneaker.

The base for this collaboration is xVESSEL's popular "G.O.P" sneaker. Details such as leather materials, the iconic black color, and Yohji Yamamoto's signature logo are incorporated throughout.

The collection features two styles: "xVESSEL LOW" and "xVESSEL HIGH." The fusion of street aesthetics with an avant-garde sensibility creates a unique finish that could only be achieved through this collaboration.

The size label, typically found inside the shoe, is intentionally placed on the outer side as a design element. This tag is an original xVESSEL design.

The canvas upper features a raw, cut-off fringe for an "unfinished" element, while the layered sole is a "deconstructed" design, combining numerous disassembled sole parts.

The "xVESSEL LOW" model replaces traditional laces with a high-tech "dial lacing system." This system, featuring wire laces and a dial disc for winding them, allows for quick and smooth fastening and size adjustment.

The "xVESSEL HIGH," on the other hand, features a back zip for easy on and off. The "Yohji Yamamoto" signature logo is embroidered on the side. The shoe has 11 eyelets, creating a design reminiscent of a short boot.

The "xVESSEL LOW" is available in two colorways: black x black and black x white. The "xVESSEL HIGH" comes in black and red.
