To commemorate the anniversary year of the Nike Air Max 90, a new model, the "Nike Air Max 2090," has arrived. Its design and details, which express the future, offer a glimpse into the future direction of Nike's design. Launching Spring 2020.

Colorway Inspired by "Future Cars"
2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 90. Nike will be releasing a series of products throughout the year to celebrate this milestone.
The newly released "Nike Air Max 2090" inherits elements from the Nike Air Max 90 while embodying Nike's vision for the future.
It combines the pioneering design elements of the Nike Air Max 90 with updated details that signify the future.
The mudguard, the cassette surrounding the Air unit, and the heel logo remain largely unchanged out of respect for the original.
However, the Air unit itself is larger than before, with the visible window for the Air unit now double the size compared to the original.
Drawing inspiration from the original waffle outsole design, this iteration features a distinctive tread pattern for enhanced flexibility. It combines the original groove lines with the functionality demanded today.
Inspired by future automobiles, the color scheme features patterns mimicking headlights and taillights with distinct front and rear colors, representing Nike designers' vision of cars in 2090.
The color blocking on the Nike Air Max 2090 differs in material transparency compared to the Air Max 90. By making the most supportive areas opaque and the less supportive areas translucent, the design emphasizes structural importance.
