Updated While Preserving the Original Form
The "Nike Air Max 90," originally launched as the "Nike Air Max III" in 1990, was designed by Tinker Hatfield.
It featured a larger Air unit than previous models, enhanced flexibility, and a lacing system that allowed for easier fit adjustment by freely choosing the eyelets. The upper panels, combining different materials, expanded the possibilities for colorways, embodying a vibrant and groundbreaking design.
Over the subsequent 30 years, through reissues and various iterations, it has continued to color the fashion scene and captivate sneaker enthusiasts.
Entering 2020, the Nike Air Max 90 has been refreshed, with updates to panel sizes, toe box height, and heel panels, all while adhering to the original form. Multiple colorways are available, inspired by the original color blocking.
Internal construction, including luxurious original lining, has also been revised. The outsole adopts that of the Nike Air Max 1.
The box housing the shoes revives the original slim box design used for several models in the early 90s. The box features distinctive hazard stripes in colors matching each shoe.
