High Functionality Meets Minimalist Design
MINOTAUR INST. proposes apparel that pursues modern functionality and comfort while inheriting traditional and universal techniques and elements. Their collection features modern wear with simple silhouettes that blend into any scene, designed for everyday life.
This collaboration between MINOTAUR INST. and ZANTER, a long-established Japanese manufacturer renowned for its outerwear for Antarctic expeditions, has resulted in a new down jacket.
The down filling uses English-sourced Chery Valley white duck down, which boasts higher whiteness, superior warmth retention, moisture-wicking, and elasticity compared to standard duck down.
The interior features a see-through fabric, subtly revealing the white down for a discreet accent. The outer shell is crafted from a 2-layer material by Komatsu Matere, a leading Japanese textile manufacturer, offering a refined texture along with excellent water repellency and breathability.
Detachable arm covers on the sleeves add to the pursuit of functionality, with these details drawing the eye.
This is a tech-down jacket that combines design and functionality without visible stitching, embodying an urban outdoor aesthetic with its minimal profile, waterproof, breathable, and lightweight properties.
