Japan's Sole Flagship Store, "BOSS Store Omotesando," Opens Its Doors

On Friday, November 29th, HUGO BOSS unveiled its sole flagship store in Japan, incorporating the latest concept, in Omotesando. To commemorate the occasion, an opening ceremony was held the previous day. Many special guests, including Koji Yakusho and Tadanobu Asano, graced the event.

The "BOSS Store Omotesando" reflects the same "Clean and Sophisticated" concept as the world's largest flagship store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, which reopened last year, and the street-level stores in New York and Shanghai.

Each floor features wall panels made of black steel grids and high-quality mesh materials, incorporating LED screens. These wall panels are reportedly inspired by the works of painter Piet Mondrian. The interior's highlight, the "Objet Lumière," is a modern interpretation of a grand chandelier. The exterior was designed by Japanese architect Norihiko Dan, ensuring the building harmonizes with the Omotesando streetscape. All floors exclusively offer men's items, with the 1st and 2nd floors showcasing the "BOSS" line and the basement floor featuring the "HUGO" line. A VIP room is available on the 3rd floor.

That evening, an after-party was also held at the Aoyama restaurant "TWO ROOMS," inviting approximately 420 guests. Actor Koji Yakusho, Masaharu Fukuyama, and Tetsuya Bessho were among those who coolly sported "BOSS" suits. Model Nanase Ebara appeared in a "BOSS" pantsuit, while model Karen Michibata wore "HUGO" items. Many other notable figures attended, including former Japan national football team player Tsuneyasu Miyamoto, and the couple Nicolai and Amanda Bergmann.

The highlight was the live performance by Crystal Kay and Thelma Aoyama. The guests were captivated by their powerful and sophisticated vocals, making it a truly glamorous event befitting the opening of the flagship store.
