Vivienne's Vision Added to Five Esteemed Brands
The Quality and Craftsmanship Embodied in Products from Historic Brands──This has given rise to the collaboration project "Vivienne Westwood ♥'s," where Vivienne Westwood's unique perspective is infused into these heritage brands.
Globe-Trotter, a brand cherished for over a century by distinguished clients including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, presents three sizes for this collaboration: a 30-inch suitcase, a 21-inch trolley case, and a 9-inch mini utility case. These are offered in two elegant colors: cream and midnight blue.
Each model features burgundy red leather corners and trim, finished with brass hardware. The lining showcases Vivienne Westwood's signature "blue and red" tartan, inspired by the tartan checks from Johnstons of Elgin, creating a design that strongly reflects the collaborative spirit.
For Gloverall, renowned for its duffle coats, the "Wartime Monty Duffle" has been reimagined based on original duffle coats worn by activists in the 1960s and 70s. This collaborative duffle coat is made in London and will be available in two styles.
One features Vivienne's manifesto message and campaign graphics for this season's "Climate Revolution." The other, inspired by school uniforms, is a rare Vivienne Westwood design with a double-faced tartan fabric adorned with graffiti-style prints of a handwriting-inspired tartan check.
Johnstons of Elgin, the only Scottish mill that handles cashmere from fiber to finished fabric and is recognized as a Royal Warrant holder by HRH The Prince of Wales, offers redesigned classic cardigans and pullovers in two colorways: soft grey x caramel argyle. Additionally, classic cashmere stoles in tartan checks will also be available.
The inspiration for the hats created with Lock & Co, a recipient of Royal Warrants from the Duke of Edinburgh and HRH The Prince of Wales, stems from Vivienne's "Do It Yourself" concept of recycling clothes and fabrics. Using Lock & Co's original Lennon cap design, these hats are crafted from luxurious leftover fabrics actually used in past Vivienne Westwood Gold Label collection shows. Additionally, a classic Trilby Voyager hat will also be released.
And for Pantherella, a luxury sock manufacturer renowned for producing the world's finest quality socks, a vibrant color palette of socks has been designed, including fuchsia pink, scarlet red, lemon yellow, saffron, mid-grey, and charcoal grey.
